Hi GSOC Students and FANN mailing list,

It has been a while and I have finished my thesis in the mean time (got a
12, the highest score). Now I am ready to give FANN the final tuning, so as
to allow the GSOC code to be released. Unfortunately much of the code is
lacking in some places before the code can be released to the public.
Especially the MIMO conversion have meant that some parts have been left in
a state where it does not function.

For this reason everybody is encouraged to help in this period to make sure
that all bugs are removed and that the documentation etc. is up-to-date. All
help is welcome, both from people who have been working on the gsoc2007 code
branch and people who are willing to test the implementation. Dan have
helped porting the code for windows, and the code can now build in Visual
Studio 2008 and C++ Builder 2007.

I have made a spreadsheet detailing the progress here:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pIiQFgCIdioWnyy0RBpERfA
The spreadsheet is an excellent tool detailing where help is needed.

To all of the GSOC students, please go and take a look at the status page
for your project in the and let me know what you think the status is.

There have been created a thread in the forum detailing the progress of the
release here: http://leenissen.dk/fann/forum/viewtopic.php?t=265

Best Regards, let us hope that we can quickly get the code from the summer
of code release.
Steffen
